ATI are awesome so long as they are not on third party boards. And i find it nearly impossible to find ATI in the UK on ATI boards.

Sapphire are the ones to have next to ATI.
Sapphire are top quality. Every single graphics card they send out is individually checked!

I thought ATI had stopped making cards and just make the chips now.
They defo did at some point anyway unless they have started again.

Christ! Gonna be a pretty sweet PC! Managed to melt my 9800 Pro a few mnths back - took ATi 3 months to return a new card! So IMO, their customer service is wank but, their products in general are good.

Dude you ahve bought a Asus SLI good man!
One thing to look out for though when it arrives replace the chipset fan as after around a month it starts to get really noisy! This is because it spins at 8000rpm and the bearing can't take it! evetually it will die. !! Just a word of warning chap!
Stick another gb of ram in there and your done#
Btw that g.card is top I have one

cool
i will keep a listen out for the fan.
Ive ordered another half gig or corsair ram, so at the mo its 4 x 256mb (the quickest way to access the ram).
If i find i need more than a gig or ram i will upgrade it in the future.
Im also gonna have to reinstall XP with the 64 bit OS.
Only cos Steam/Sierra is starting to release their games in 64 bit for anyone who has the 64 chip + OS.
HL2 and lost coast now takes advantage of the 64 bit machines.
Source
I only assume you MUST have the 64 bit Operating System to take advantage of any software/game that is 64bit compatable?
