Right i need to add the wire for my diognostic coming from the 1.6 ecu because the 1.2 diog only has 6 pins and the 1.6 has 7 so there is one pin to add ....

I know where the pin goes and where wire it is i just need to know how to get to the back of the diog port to put it in

this is rather important as i need to get the faults stored on my ecu cleared and find out if there is still a problem after the faults have been cleared

could you or would it not be easier to go to a scrappy and get the correct:

to go with your engine then just swap them over?

not particularry all it needs is the wire putting into pin 6 and then its sorted .. its only one wire

think there is 2 screws on the bottom of the fuse box, undo them.... then pull like buggery to get the box out. i did it once to a mk3 astra, took a while but i managed to get it out not al lthe way but enough
