Well im no expert on cars but i changed my brakepads yesterday,and now it takes a few seconds everytime i brake for them to respond and if im going fast and want to stop in a hurry it takes a while to stop,so now i cant drive it until this is sorted as its really dangerous...Does this mean my brakes need bleeding..coz if i just pump the brakes i can hear air being pumped..and how do i go about bleeding the brakes if this is the case??
Any help is much appreciated !

new pads need time to bed in.
I trust you pumped the pedal after doing one side befoore doing the other?

yes i did that..just it feels dangerous like it is at the moment im gonna get my mate to check it..hope thats all it is that they need bedding in

Cheer's ainsley you was correct,drove my corsa around for a bit today and now my brakes work perfect
