I ran my car for a year on one without a fan. Then I put a hole in it by mistake, so I got anew one and a Corsa C diesel fan, works a treat. Never goes above 90 on the dash

Looking at MattB's car, the diesel rads seem to be longer and thinner. Not sure on the advantages. If you are looking to spend £100 on a radiator why don't you just get a specifc 2.0 Corsa radiator?

No mine was deffo a 1.2 one. Or this brazilian rad i burst had exactally the same mounts, and the pipes went in the same places.
A brand new 1.2 rad from my local motor factors, and my water temps are fine
