Hi,

Just asking about sticking valves as my 1.4 sport seems sluggish whaen pulling away from lights, juntions ect! I put it down to it just being a 16v as when on the move it fairly shifts! No hesitating or flat spots! some one told me these engines suffer from sticking valves! But surely it would be noticable through out the rev range not just in first gear?
Any info would be great! cheers

mine was the same i think they are all slow on pick up the are a revy engine the only way i know to change its to start modifying it eg mantzel inlet stuff like that

mantzel will make it feel more sluggish lower down... moves the power top end
