Got mine off at the moment and its a mess. Bits of it are melted all over the place due to the heat from the exhaust manifold. Its the original 1.6 one that came with the car.
My question is what other fans have you used? I know there was somebody on here that used a slimmer one and mounted it on the front side of the rad............but i cant remember who it was?

yeah mines done thats m8. mine melted on the manifold. u can get pacet fans. (2 0f them) quiet and fits 2 the opposite side of the rad!

i used a 1.2 rad fan on mine, was fine...never touched anything...

pacet / spal fans are spot on, some on ebay, id stray away from rb_sound or snowbend on there tho i had some right hassle  , failing that demon tweaks do them aswell.
Very thing and dont have pull some air through them.
