swings and round abouts.
each time something new is out, it is superseeded by new technology the next month.
I paid nearly £300 for my Saphire X1800 XT, which dont get me wrong is a red hot card, but now its down to £200 (sapphire) and i really want the X1900 XT

7900 isnt a new chip tho so what did you expect.
Its just a tidy up and shrink of the old one, at slightly higher clocks.
Its a tiny chip compared to ATI's and still match's it easily, i know which id rather have :-)

actually its 0.09 architecture, so its completely new to the 0.11 process on the 7800GTX
