my engine sits at 3000 revs when idling when it jus starts it ides normal but a few seconds later it goes up to 3000 and wont come bk down, iv tred changin the idle control valve and air flow meter and cleaned the throttle body out and checked all the breathers, does anyone know what itcould be or anyone had any similar problems?

used to get this on my 1.4 engine..

theres no lambda sensor on the car its the its the old stlye engine, no engine managment light either

the cts often doesnt put up a dash light for a while though as the ecu just takes whatever reading it gets from that as being correct. takes a while to reaslie its bust and put the light on
