Right ok, slight problem here
Theres some certain 'files' i want to 'view' again.
The problem:
I formatted my pc, all these files were not touched. They are on a separate hard drive in my pc.
When i double click the icon, it says 'no preview avaliable'.
I think i have narrowed it down to me having different computer names when i formatted my pc:
so i add a new user:
and click ok and i get
Any solutions at all?
Could i change the name of the computer back to the old one?

You might need to take ownership of the files first?

You need to turn of simple file sharing first, go to Tools, Folder Options, View, go to the bottom and turn it off.
Then richt click on the folder where all your pics are and right click, properties, security, advanced, owner
Then replace the owner of the folder with your admin account. Then go back to the permissions tab and replace the child permissions on the folder and subfolders as well. That might solve your problems?
