i was driving up the motorway sitting at 70mph an then the car started 2 chug and the engine management light came on an i took foot off pedal 2 allow 2 slow down and the light went off foot bck on pedal was fine wee bit later it did the same does ne1 no wat could b the cause

From that short description I would assume an intermittant fault with the TPS. Throttle Position Sensor. But can't be sure. Best get it diagnosed (Engine Management is way too complex to just guess and stab at it). If you can't afford to take it to Vauxhall then carry out the paperclip diagnosis self-check.

mine is the same had it tested twice and said it was lambda sensor and i replaced it and that didnt work  guy said could be ecu so i cant go over 70mph now how fun

mine has done it once wen i was going slow but mostly its wen im 60 + constant speed

mine does exactly the same. i have had it checked on a dignostics and it is the lambda sensor

lol mine did also go over 70 with a long stretch but i barely see it over that l8ly koz of the goddam engine light!

mine did this, said Lambda but was the AFM so had a new one and it solved it

u think i should just chance it and get a AFM i have had 2 tests and said lambda sensor .... my car is using alot of petrol latly aswell
