Hi All,
I've just removed the gear linkage from my 1.7 D as I'm in the process of changing the rack. The joints of the linkage all have a little wear but nothing very serious by the looks of things -but how do I know if it is fubed?
I am asking this because when the car is ticking over in neutral there is a vibration through the dash/gearlever and when I push the gear lever to either side or try to engage a gear -without actually doing so- then the vibes stop should I take a look at the gearlever ball and remote system?
