i think thgat i have split the ball joint gaitor on the corsa c, the end where the track road is
what are the symptoms of this? and is it serious because i dunno how long its split
my steering wheel seems to make a creaking noise, and when going un even roads there is like a knocking/creaking noise

they're just there to hold in a small amount of grease.
i wouldn't have thought you'd hear noises from it, but it may fail early, so best to swap it out.

is it the ball joint or track rod end?
and as for creaking im sure corsa c's suffer from fucked rack's and coloum's
