Can anyone help?...
My mate's got a problem with his J reg Astra GSi 2.0l 16v
Its the redtop engine, with the dizzy, not a coilpack.
The car will start & run ok.. it idles fine on all 4, and when revved slowly, it seems fine. However, when you rev it fast from idle i.e. "blipping" the throttle, it misses really bad & is backfiring to the point that flames are coming out the back 
The car has a K&N cone filter fitted, which I hear normally causes the death of the AFM, but I would expect the car to idle bad & rev bad if it was fk'd....
Would I be correct in thinking that its more likely to be the rotor arm & dizzy that's causing the fault?
Any help would be great!
