Well i have seen his speeds and also seen his bill, because i didn't believe him either!
Also 10mb with NTL is capped monthly at 75gb

ok ive just spoken to them. They have upgraded me to 4mb for £18 a month.
Not as great as the 10mb, but he wouldnt budge on it?
Any other tips?

I think ive figuered out why they didnt offer me 10mb.
The set top box i have got wont accept 10mb, so they would have to fork out for a new modem and a technician to install al this for me.
Im guessing they didnt want to to all this for free
