i have done the first two steps . But the last step asks for VAT number.

has anyone ever been dropped on by the taxman for selling?
Is it safe to become verified ?

you will also get feedback

when other verified account holders send payment

like pug nut never had to do the VAT thing, so you might need to contact them about it.
But you signing up for their business account or a personal one? Im pretty sure if your just signing up for the personal account you dont need to do it

And is it safe, well as safe as paypal will get - though there are plenty of horror stories about paypal
