Got an old 233 cyrix system that i need to convert into a proxy/firewaill server to share a connection amougst 4 pcs using a switch - but wanted the proxy to beable to throttle each connection independently (both the upload and download) and time schedule the throttling ie: before certain time it would throttle the connection so much, otherwise turn it off after midnight etc

Can anyone point be into a distro that offers this (im sure ive seen some all in ones) or software that will run on something like red hat/mandrake etc?

Alternative route is to use windows (NT/XP but will be slow as hell), but ive yet to find a decent piece of software that will throttle the upload as well (CCProxy is my current choice if this happens)
