didn't realise you could preorder PS3s allready. Bit pricey, I was expecting it to be more like £400  Got my name down on the GAME list to let me know when I can preorder but heard nothing yet...

The big boss at Sony UK said about 3 months ago that the 60GB version would be priced 'around £425' but retailers might be able to price it at whatever they like. He also said its possible the UK may never ever see the 20GB version.
Nothing was really set in stone however, but its the only real official word anyones had on the subject.

very pricey but the thing is SONY and retailers know they can shift them at ths price
I'm gonna wait till them come down to £100 with 20 games, steeling wheel, eyetoy and a gift voucher worth £100

i was thinking about buying one, not wanting one, but buying one and then selling it on when no-one can get hold of one

Dont get your hopes up fellas sony cocked up the psp launch and the ps3 launch but the ps3 is gonna be the worlds first worldwide release. 14 million consoles for the 3 zones (europe, usa and japan)
