dell i have found to be good and fast.. i have a toshiba atm, and its old and still quick.. it wont play new games but it does play red alert 2 on max settings very nicley.. it doesnt have wireless built in which u want really..
my mate does have a toshiba laptop, the upgrade from mine and his is very nice..

Yeah needs to be a laptop simon sick of been stuck in the same room on a hard chair
His laptop is dell and its about 7months old he doesnt have much stuff on there as i have ask'd him why its slow and he said was slow from day one.
I still want to get a dell but more and more people say not worth the money and are pants
Like the look of the sony so thats why i have went for a sony aswell.
laptop will be getting used for when i go away and for music/pictures/internet/msn thats about it as i will still have the pc along with the laptop.

I have never had ANY problems with any dell system I have owned even after making upgrades.
had 2 optiplex, 3 dimensions, 3 inspirons. And never got any faults.
