Anyone know what tyre pressure is okay for my corsa b?
I've got 205/40/17 pirellis and I'm not sure what pressure they are meant to be. A guy at the bodyshop said 28 all round would be okay, is this right?

Are you sure, it seems quite a lot. How can I tell if it's too much? will the steering be jerky?

thats not a lot... thats what is should be.
Too much and steering will be too light and VERY dangerous due to amount of tyre in contact with road.
Not enough and steering will be too heavy and tyres will wear very quickly on outer edges.
Trust me is 32/30

32 on the front / 26 back is vauxhall figure for my C.
32/30 will be fine.
