Was just wanting a bit of advice on upgrading to a x16xe from an x12xe. Are the driveshafts the same on these two engines and engine and gearbox mounts? Or will i need these from the donor car? Also is there anything else that i will need apart from loom and manifolds. Herard somethhind about a transponder key? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

- driveshafts are the same
- gearbox mounts are the same (or use the gearbox off the 1.2)
- drivers side engine mount is different (use the one off the 1.6)
- wiring is a bit more tedious than other models but pretty much colour for colour
- swap the transponder chip in the key from the donor car into your key

right, for that im not going to even try and look for a cam belt cover for you
