Car is going rusty along the top of the windscreen
Remover windscreen (see http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=53058 )
Quick rub down, bit of filler & a few squirts of paint later I could have it rust free
then I "seal" my windscreen back in & break it
Costs £50 excess on insurance for glass
Other alternative is get a quote from a bodyshop. But how good at fitting windscreen do you think bodyshops are?

I work in a garage and no body shop near me fits front screens get a wind screen company 2 fit 1. your pay alot more 2 get a new screen and fitted then wot ur insurance will do it for plus you dont lose any no claims bonus to have a wind screen done with your insurance company.

pay the £50.
it cost me 25 quid to have the rear screen put back in my nova.
take the glass out, breaking it, then pay the excess to have a new screen with tinted strip fitted.
darn sight cheaper than the bodyshop option
