everytime i customize my firefox.. such as the buttons, toolbar, etc.. then close browser and re-open it, it keeps forgetting my customized settings.. i've tried uninstalling many times.. but it never remembers my preferences.. how do i sort this out?

before closing/restarting, do you apply changes?

 this is exactly the same thing what happens to me 
Abdus - I open FF, then apply all the settings, then whenever i close down and re-open, its back to normal

there is no 'apply' button, i mean when u right click at the top toolbar and click customize.
