I tend to find that my firefox is MUCH faster than my IE...
I also find that with the options of a number of tabs on the same page is useful!
I think firefox is much more useful than IE!
Why not just keep IE incase you change your mind?

The newest version of IE has tabs just like firefox...I used to use firefox but now i find that IE offers the same features and is more compatible TBH - try downloading the latest version from microsoft, its free (think they check your Windows is legal first tho)

I use Firefox and its been tip top for me, tabbed browsing is always helpful and keeps itself updated. Even if IE does all this too now ill just stick to Firefox now.

I have Firefox but only for testing purposes for my site, I use IE for main browsing.
Opera I think is better than Firefox IMO.

firefox uses stupids amounts of memory, leave it running for a few hrs and i fine it has gobbled up 100+mb.
I use SeaMonkey, based on the mozilla engine like opera/firefox, but a lot simpler and less flashy - it can be a tad flakey once in a while, but its certainly faster than firefox and ie

ive used firefox for the last few months and never had a problem with it, ive got a 1gb of ram so dont really notice if it takes up 100mb+
havent tried opera but will do, like firefox because of the themes and foxytunes(control music player at the bottom of the web browser)
got the futurma theme at the moment

Opera is the best for the PC, although Safari is still the best browser IMO. I much prefer IE to Firefox, and IE is far faster than Firefox as they've bloated Firefox out with loads of features just for the sake of beating IE. Firefox was initially developed to be a cut-down version of Mozilla, but Firefox is now bloatier, more memory hogging and slower than Mozilla and IE.

like i said leave firefox running for a while on a page and memory will be gobbled
And i totally agree with what james said - it the early versions of firefox it used to be pretty damn quick, but the last few versions are slow compared to IE - hence why i use seamonkey, as its just a simple browser, has tabs but doesnt offer anything else in terms of features and its fast too

I don't want to use a browser that you have to have an addon or a tweaking program for; I want a browser which works exactly as I need it to from the start.

No problems here with Firefox. Takes a bit of getting used to at first but I prefer the layout now.
