Got an output on my laptop that i am asured can link into my new plasma tv. Went into pc world and the lead was $30 and maplins was same. Tried lookin on ebuyer.co.uk but cant find the exact cable i need. Could someone help please.

It will be one of the small round scart cables. I struggled to get one for under £30, then went to the local Hardwares store...and I got one for £3.99

Hey folks soz been away. The connectionon the laptop is about 2cm long with a screw on either side. On the tv i have s-video in as well as HDMI and DVI and VGA i am sure.

What colour is it?
You need vga to vga if its blue, if its white you need dvi-dvi

its blue on the laptop. TV has HDMI/DVI input, RS-232C input and RGB(PC/DTV). Thats all the inputs.

Unless the tv has a connector that looks exactly the same as the one he laptop, which it doesn't seem to.
