Phone has been stolen, wondered what anybody else did ?
Phoned o2 and they said i can either buy a new phone and they will send a new SIm on the same number so i can keep using my contract, or i can lower the price to the lowest tarriff.
I never took insurance out with the contract so obviously i can't get a replacement for free.
A mate has just offered to give me his old K750i for free but are they easy to unlock?
What would people do in my situation?

OoO Vodafone tend to lock theirs. As said it would cost about £10 to unlock at a local market etc.. although I have seen an online service for about £4.95. I can't remember the link though

it times like this when O2 Gold Insurance for £4.95 per month isn't such a bad idea. I have a tendancy to loose my phone so i always insure mine otherwise i would be parting with quite a bit of cash per year.
