Right I have had a price of £170 for a full set of perspex windows which is much cheapness however im told they are not as strong as poly carb, so my question is it worth the extra £100 or so for poly carb

car will be used for track days, and the ocasional weekend blast, car isnt garaged but is covered so security may also be an issue, but then i suppose there aint really anything to nick in it and steering wheel is always removed so qite tricky to steal it.

you can break perspex easily depending on what grade it is-

i would reccomend just going to a plastics supplier and buying a sheet of polycarb yourself-
take your windows out draw round, cut out put polycarbs ones back in, may be cheaper, plus the plastics companies like selling it by the sheet

perspex shatters and snaps easily as is it a harder material than polycarb.

polycarb flexes alot more and gets it strength from that. which also means you cant smash it to get in the car!

i got mine from plastics for performance, very good and well made, get the black tint ones, its the same tint as standard corsa sport glass, looks good!

i was tempted ot make my own but a thermo formed rear window is necessary really well not absolutly bt it looks better.

also the sliders are very well made on the kits you buy

Perspex windows You'd have to be an idiot to fit perspex windows. Saying they aren't as strong as polycarb is a massive understatement! Perspex = Acrylic = BRITTLE!

Have a stone hit them and they will shatter into increadibly sharp pieces which will probably fly into your eye.
