ir read in someone elses post the other day, the best way to renew the blackness of the arches is to heatgun them.....

how does this work??...

back to black doesnt seem to work anymore, they stay blotchy and grey

i have heard a heatgun lasts longer and doesnt look all blotchy :? although i used autoglym bumer care is it seemed to last about 3 washes

gonna try the heatgun on my next corsa

yeh, i normally use meguires or autoglym...... ive used simoniz this time, and seems utter shite

thatll be the problem mate, ive used that stuff on mine and it was absolute shit, the bumpers and arches were grey and shit again after a couple of days

that stuff is absolutely shite lol trust me mate use the autoglym bumper care its class stuff and lasts longer!

not a heat gun then??.. i dont get how the heat gun works...does it melt the plastic a bit or something??

some reason my bumper (tops) dont fade as much as the arches...

i sware by it
done mine, it melts the top layer of plastic and turns it black like the day it was made

lasts months if not a year

wont that effect the paint on the car. Or do you remove the arches?
