I've got two accounts i use. My hotmail one and one for my website.
The server one downloads to my computer but the hotmail one synchronises.

How do i get outlook to pop up a message for the hotmail account as it doesn't do this, only for e-mails that are downloaded

Not really an option. I only sign in to MSN now when i wanna chat to someone. I'm one of those people that has to reply to people and most of them are only on there because they are bored.

I know you've said no lol, but surely you could just set yourself to offline and leave it minimised in your system tray set only to give email alerts?
