When manufacturing an inlet manifold for a bike carb conversion on a 20XE would you have to take into account the water jacket?
Can you just make the flange up and ignore the water jacket ports on the head or will that make the engine unhappy?
Also, are there any resources for these conversions online, they seem quite interesting, but I can't seem to find a lot of info

Most of those are cast and it's hard to tell if they have a water jacket or not just by looking at pics.

So they just loop the water round instead of blocking the coolent port off on the head totally?
