Ok so its not finished, and i am really frustrated atm with the whole house but fancied an update. As most of you know i bought here in February 2006 when i was 19, so have officially owned my house for 1 year and 6 days now
So i went from this -
To this -
To this -
and i am finally here at the mo -
So as you can see, now that i look back we have come a long way. The walls and ceiling had to be re skimmed, very lucky in that a friend did it for us, but when we took the wallpaper off i was practically crying when we saw how bad the walls were underneath the 5/6 layers of paper
We ripped the old old fire out, and i am currently left with this -
I have boxed off the inside, and 'attempted' to fill round the outside (shut up.) so im currently left with a hole. Planning on getting it skimmed/smoothed off, painted then god knows!
and for those of you who saw my thread about the blind (which i bought without checking the fucking length, trimmed down to size, then hung) heres a pic of it fully released....
... I'll get there, one day.... oneeeee dayyyyy! House was bought for £67,950. 10k under advertised price due to it being so cosmetically SHITE. Currently valued at 85k, being revalued once more works been completed (ie.. the rest of the house )
