gona b replacing my speedo bulbs shortly and wondering if my car will have a cable driven speedo as i've heard it makes things a lot more difficult...i have a 1.0 12v W reg...

dont need to take the clocks out anyway just need to take the front cover off

confusion, what do you mean by the front cover? like the black dial surround behind the glass? are the bulbs replaced through the front?

the dash surround and the plastic cover over the dials i did mine that way as i had a cable driven one.

It will deff be a electric one, its easy peasy to get out, no messing with anything!
Take the steering coloum plastic off - turn the wheel side to side to get access to screws (maybe under little plastic covers). Pop this off. Unscrew the speedo suround ( 2 in bottom, 1 in the top above speedo), pull this off (dont be afriad to pull). Then, undo the two screws either side of the speedo and lift the clip out at the top. The whole unit comes out, bulbs that need replacing are the ones labeled A, B, C (green backs normally!) Jobs a gudun!

what bulb is A. B. C? is it a 286T or a 509T?
