my mates corsa b 1.0 R reg, has suddenly just started popping flames without the CAT being taken out. Or the middle silencer taken out or with out another manifold.
He only has a backbox and a panel filter, what could this be down to?

could be excess fuel building up in the backbox - has he noticed reduced mpg?! there was a guy mentioned this to me the other day when i was on about reduced mpg but i wasnt getting any backfiring!!
