totally fed up with windows media player 10. have tried media 11 but it crases my comp n fook sup my bootup!
what do peeps recom as a good alternative! i like a media player to have a nice clear layout, so that i can make playlists n a decent serach function!

Media player wont crash your PC. unless its 10years old.

media 11 does. my lap is under a year old.
media player crashes and if i turn off my lappy. it corrupts my boot up...it has done it twice now! and i have had to remove my hardrive transfer everything acorss n repair it!!
hence it foookin shite!

VLC is a good one...

I use WMP11 on my computer and it seems to work fine  I know of a few people who have found it to be problematic though...

if it fucks up your Boot instead of repairing it all, just bung in your windows cd, boot up to it, then do r to go into recovery console.
there type chkdsk /P /R

jetaudio is shite. just got it. really good sound, but library is a bugger! musicmatch is now yahoo so im stayin clear of that!
vlc is quite basic isnt it?

Just a media player. I use Windows Explorer as a library anyway. There are a few improvements in Vista which make it a good choice in my opinion...

vlc player for movies
job done
why people bother with media player is beyond me
that said if you want to use something with a good file explorer layout get media monkey.
