next week im gonna be servicing the car so just a quick post to make sure i get everything i need
oil filter
oil (what should i use)
spark plugs
air filter
is this everything ill need?

use vauxhall semi synthetic 10/40
and get a fuel filter while your at it its a five minute job to do.
you could do the cabin filter aswell if you want its only a few quid

should i replace the coolant aswell or does it not matter if its not changed?

not to sure if you really need to mate,just keep it topped up with antifreeze and check for any leaks

its not leaking and its at the right level, its just the ratio of antifreeze to water i dont know and i also dont know how long its been in the car, if i dont need to worry about it i wont

In the Vauxhall handbook it says the coolant is designed to last the life of the vehicle.
Just go to any garage and asked to have your coolant checked - they shouldn't really charge. And ask to see the aparatus they're using, so they don't lie.
Pretty easy to do yourself though, so I heard 
Mine's due for a service in 3k miles.

lol, providing the engine is in factory condition I should imagine. An old engine is going to use a bit of water I would have thought? Might be worth doing it, then you know you've done it, and when etc.
It should be a pinky colour, so if it isn't. 1) it is dirty and old 2) it has been changed in the passed.
Mine is lovely and new because of the crash
