I'm getting my misses a Corsa C.
We've found one that we're due to see / collect on Wednesday. Its an 2002 1.0 12v Club.
Any gen on what goes wrong with these and problems to look for? Do they rust at all?
Do they have cam belts or are they chains? If belt when should it be changed? Any other special servicing requirements?
Any other info?
Cheers
Miles.

they're chain driven, watch out they do rattle, they're really under powered 1.2's are just as economical, they dont tend to rust unless there is something wrong like its had a bad repair.
they're not bad cars watch out for rattles though!!

steering rack
steering column
gear linkage
ARB droplinks
ball joints
rear suspension creaks
common faults.
there's more too, but I can't remember them
if the rack hasn't been replaced, it's £500+ to do, if it's not under warranty...

I have a 12v but in a Corsa B, it's the same engine as far as I know though.
Engine is fine, doesn't use much oil at all, is underpowered and keep an eye on the water! They do heat up quite quick, so you want to help it as much as you can.
My car has covered 64k (W-reg) and I haven't encountered any such problems that Robin mentioned, although mine is a B - but the MOT is due in March, so touch wood, nothing will be wrong.
Happy motoring.
