Right I bought an SRi spoiler today whilst I was out and about. Was really a spur of the moment thing, and wasnt to much money so I grabbed the last one they had.

I dont know if it is the same as the original spoilers, it has all the bolt holes in place.

I dont know what the fitting and spraying involves, if I take it to a body shop to be fitted and sprayed will they just spray it off the car and then fit it, if so I would probably do it myself if it is fairly straight foward.

I have had 2 quotes so far to fit and spray, one at £120 and one at £80-£90. I thought that was a little too much, so am gonna keep ringing round.

Some small pics for you:-

I put mine on myself, havnt had it sprayed yet, cause theres a load of work happening at the smae time, just make sure u get it straight before u put it on, measure 2/3 times drill once, that way u shouldnt make mistakes, ifits off at all it'll look stupid.

but as I sai if u spend the time u wont have a problem

Ah well, anyone know what the fit is actually like with these??

I like it because of the brake light in the the spoiler. It was cheap too, only £75 so I cant really comlpain to be honest. Already primered could do with a little rubbing down I think.

When I find a place to fit the spoiler I will ask how much work I can do myself to lower the price, like sand it down and make sure its smooth and fit it myself.

Is the price I said in the first post about right??

Yeah I will probably get it sparyed and fit it myself.

Do body shops normally spray it when on the car or off the car?? I assume off would be easier, on would be ok if I went for the whole boot to be sprayed!!

Thats alright then, so I will just get them to sort it.

Got 2 more places to try, might be getting it done just for the price of the paint, mates mum works at Porsche and gets spraying done for him at paint value.

Well I dont really know what I am going for. I found the amp just cant decide on the actual sub.

At the moment I am split between these 12"s:-
Kenwood KFC-W1205DB 1200W MAX about 500W RMS
Pioneer TS-W1201C 1000W MAX 500W RMS
Phoenix Gold Tantrum TA12 600W MAX 300W RMS
Lightning S3.12.4 900W MAX 300W RMS
Rockford Fosgate RFP3212 800W MAX 400W RMS
Viper Audio 10.2 600W MAX 400WRMS

Kinda confuzzled!!!

Oh and a Audiobahn 12" 100oW MAX 500W RMS.

Its hard to decide, they are easy to fit if you have a box for them made up and all that, just chuck em in and the wiring is as easy as pie, just takes a while to keep it all near and tidy.
