as i kno red is natouriously bad for fading, had clour coding done and can see difference just curious wot peoples experinces are wit debadging a red car and if any one has pictures of it gone wrong on any car. or let me kno how to prevent it from goning wrong

I think it's only really the side strips that fade bad.

cheers but i reackonits my boot that has faded the most so wouldnt it be the original colour under the badges?

Use T-Cut then.

My paintwaork is shite! Faded in wierd areas that T-cut just won't budge. However when I de-badged and side stripped it - 4-5 hours of T-cutting got rid of the fading under those bits. Also helped my biceps

surprised you werent down to the bare metal after 4 or 5 hours

I didnt debadge my flame red corsa cos i new it would look worse without badges!!

It nearly is some places mate, little white speckles last time I polished it came up! In need of a respray!

ooh dear! My Gsi was quite badly faded, came up better after a good polish, but never have really been a fan of t cuting a whole car cos of that reason!!
