If I remember rightly, MS make a point of saying that the old one wont work with Vista, Havent tryed it tho TBH

Don't use the MSpowertools one then, use a third party one like Infranview or something.

I have vista and almost everything isnt compatable its sh*t

Everything is compatible. You just have to be more persuasive and hack everything. It's a bit like running Linux

I've not found anything Vista won't run yet - got several different programs on there, PDF printers all kinds of crap and it works fine.

I use Photoshop to resize images
