my fan wasnt coming on when it should of been so i wired it up straight off the ignition so its on constantly when the cars on.. is this ok to do?

No as itll probably wear out quickly being on all the time.

if its a short term fix i would put a switch on it so its doesnt take so long to warm up etc
but i would also want to be looking into why it aint coming on
