Got 1.6 16v corsa b sport... bonnet has got insulation stuff on it, sound proofing or something?
Basically, being a mechanical idiot lol do I need it or shall I rip it off and will it maybe emphasise me induction noise a tad

I have taken it off mine since ive had the conversion, but left it on with my 1.6
|

If I remove it will it aid cooling under the bonnet also? As metal dissipates heat faster etc?

It might do as there will be slightly more room for air to flow around, i was advised to remove it due to how hot the 2.0s can get.

i took mine out and didnt notice any difference in engine cooling. If it does help, its very minimal
