Onkyo isn't the best looking but function over form.
Was temped by the kef 1005's but it's only for my bedroom and I can't justify the extra 100 quid for slightly better sound in my bedroom really.

Amp looks good. I've got the Onkyo 674E hooked upto the Kef 1005's in my bedroom and I've been really pleased with them both.

I got the Tannoy FX5.1 a few days ago...
Not got an amp yet, so I can't comment, but they were cheap!!
Will let you know on monday!

I ordered them today anyway, should get them tomorrow or early next week.
The EFX have an improved centre and sub afaik.
Denon amps look better than the onkyo but the onkyo is supposed to be much better.

Got them, amp is fugly, heavy and massive, just the way it should be.
Sub is also well overkill from my room, don't know what it sounds like though because I can't find a phono to phono

I don't think my Onkyo stuff looks that bad to be honest. The amp works well tho, but the DVD's broke already! Back in the shop for the 2nd time to be repaired.
