Looking into buying one in the near future, I have been advised that a 4-2-1 manifold is the best type to go for? I know very little about these so any input on that would be great. I have seen a Sportex one which disables the EGR system and a Janspeed one which still enables it; again what is the difference and which one would I benefit from most?
Cheers

The EGR is on the inlet manifold and has nothing to do with a exhasust manifold. You're thinking of the secondardy air pump if you have the x14/16xe, if so, remove it.

Its for my X16XE. I was looking on www.tuning.co.uk and it definetly says the Sportex manifold disables the EGR?
What have people gone for then? And where did you get yours from?

People who don't know the engines get confused with the EGR and SAI. It's the SAI that gets disabled with some. Janspeed keeps all the SAI stuff.

Any pics of a sportex one?
The janspeed item looks a good design.
