After smashing up my keyboard yesterday due to frustration trying to get my 2GB memory card I received from eBay to work, I thought i'd remind everyone to be wary when purchasing memory on eBay, even when they are from what would appear to be a genuine seller!

I purchased a memory card from a user called global_memory_machine (14352) - Yes he has a shooting star ffs!

Anyway, I received it in good time and an ok price I thought. I left good feedback because it looked good, but I hadn't actually received my PSP yet to try it in.

Got the PSP yesterday and I couldn't get it to work at all, I thought it was the PSP that was the problem (see http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=378158 )

After a day of messing, I decided to go and buy another card from Tesco, very expensive, but I was desperate to try out the bastard PSP

....and of course, the PSP ran perfectly

I then noticed differences in the boxes and fonts, etc. Most notably, the serial wasn't correct, which I discovered after reading this guide http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/FAKE-Sony-Memory-Stick-Pro-Duo-MagicGate-Cards-Exposed_W0QQugidZ10000000001535763

Take a look at the guide if you're planning on buying some

Did you send them back? Or did you just file a claim?
