I have a P reg Corsa 1.2 that's stalling when idling.
Starts right away if I hold the throttle down - but, conks again next time I slow down.
What should I look for?

I've read that the idle control valve can be cleaned.
Is this difficult - any tips?
Also, what does the air flow meter do - could that cause idling problems?

sounds like the idle control valve is the place to start you can take it off and give it a clean yeah i used to clean mine with a bit of brake cleaner then to lub it back up i used to let the end soak in brake fluid used to work fine for me
whilst you there you might as well do the throttle body too just wipe it out get rid of any junk

Thanks for your advice - I appreciate it!
Where on the *carb* do I find the ICV?
And, do I need to take the *carb* off to clean the throttle body?
Cheers, mate, thanks for your help.
