hi all
my auntie has a 2001 (Y) vectra 1.8 ls
she needed brakes doing and had them done at a garage.after she got the car back the a.b.s lights stays on and after i took it for a spin round the block,i noticed she was right in saying that the steering seems to jolt when going straight as if it wants to steer itself!

abs light, either sensor is unplugged/damaged or needs reste as the wheels have been spun while in the air, go out in it down the road, set up to about 30/40 then put in neautral coast, turn ignition off then on (after 3 seconds)
dont bump it leave it in neautral when turning it back on.
should reset it. if it doesnt go out check the sensors plugged in and not damaged

no thats a sensor for how thin the brake pads are getting, to warn when they are low (or what vauxhall consider low so you go and pay for pads) and then they say you need discs aswell
