when starting up on a morning theres a tap/rattle that fades after 5 secs or so and also a knocking that takes half a minute/a minute to fade.
I thought my big end bearings were going but i think my pressure relief valve may be sticking.
Would the valve affect performance if the pressure wasnt right? I wouldn't of thought so but am jsut wondering why the car isnt pulling as much still.
Whereboots is it so i can clean it out?
Cheers

bolt it is on the front of the oil pump on the front of the engine. inside that is a spring and a metal thingy. if you can be troubled, change it for a nylon one off the likes of sbd as they dont stick etc.

Bottom left of the engine, looking from the front.
Just above the sump.

Yeah, its a big cap thing.
You will need something to get the valve out with, like a bit of thing wire.
