Is your DVD burner a multi burner?

Meaning does it actually burn to +R discs? I'd be suprised if it didnt....

My mates dvd burner that is 3 years old won't even read my +R discs. I tend to use -R as most, if not all dvd players will read them.

This site should help

http://www.videohelp.com/dvd

Some of the older cheaper DVD writters used to only support DVD -R.

Google the make and model of your burner. It will tell you what it supports.

A brand new pioneer dvd burner cost me £20. I'd invest in a new one if I was you tbh.
