How far can you generally go with stripping a car out to make it lighter before infringing on being un-mot worthy?

you can take everything out, if you take the rear seats out then the rear seats belts have to come out aswell i think for an MOT pass.
i dont think theres nothing that cant fail an MOT unless you dont have a hand brake lever or a brake pedal lol
