If my airbag light is on when it goes for an MOT, will it be failed?
My airbag light is always on for about a week after it has been off the road for a few months then it clears, but i'm getting the MOT tuesday and I doubt it will have cleared by then.
Can it be failed for that? Don't airbag problems cost shitloads to fix even if I know its not faulty?

As long as none of the airbags have deployed its usually a dodgy connection between one of the door or seat sensors.
If those are ok then the ECU underneath the gear lever surround will need replacement.
It will fail MOT if the airbag light is on. If its fitted with an airbag... they check before they start it that the bulb illuminates (so you cant take the bulb out).... and then check it again after the car has been started.

They perform that check in other countries.
