this weekend the final 7 tonne of gravel arrived, Jo did V-well shoveling while I raked
then today the NEW Fire at last got fitted, just a bit of plastering for them to do in the morning
it's a long way from what it looked like since it got re plasterboarded and re skimmed in October...
and at the start of the year..
still no electrics/water or heating... but least we can burn rubbish

Didnt you put any landscaping fabric under the chips?? Surely you'll have weeds growing in that in no time
Not a fan of the fire....too old fashioned looking

the house is 1911, so goes well with the cottag style, also its more heat effecient, safer and a lot less mess.
the gravel is replaceing pea gravel that had been down years.. no weeks going through that thick soil/concrete hard base thats been down years.
